The European Union is the world's biggest trader and second largest consumer of forest products. Consumption is expected to grow steadily in Western Europe until 2020. Eastern European markets will also expand considerably, growing a lot faster.There is a growing demand for certified timber products, mainly among companies, part of buyers groups.
