Rising prices for agricultural products has lead to investments in agricultural machinery and, consequently, for parts and components thereof. The forecasts for the near future are more bleak, but for the longer term more positive. Demand, especially in the OEM supply chain, is likely to fall in 2009 and 2010, to pick up again in later years. After-market consumption could profit slightly from delayed investments in new machinery.
