EU legislation: Labelling of textile products (including garments)

If you export textile products (including garments) intended for production and/or sale at the retail stage in the EU, you have to take into account the labelling requirements for textiles. The labelling requirements relate to an indication of the fibre contents using prescribed fibre names. This document provides an outline on the legislative requirements which affect your export to the EU and gives references to other relevant information and developments of future legislation.
