EU legislation: Ugilec and DBBT in several products

If you want to export electronic components to the EU, you have to make sure that they do not contain the forbidden chemicals Ugilec and DBBT. Ugilec and DBBT can be used as dielectric liquids in capacitors and transformers and as hydraulic liquids in mining. Because, these substances are toxic, persistent and bio-accumulative, the EU prohibits their marketing and use.
